Dr. Becca Timmons graduated with her DVM from Colorado State University in 2017. Throughout her career, she has been an associate veterinarian at small animal hospitals as well as utilized her research background studying chronic disease in cats, point of care testing using nanoengineering at a nanotechnology company, and was acting as Research Director for a company developing cancer diagnostics for animals. In the last 5 years she has provided relief veterinary services for a variety of hospitals/clinics- in rural, urban and city settings and learning to work with a wide variety of clientele. This past year she even gained international experience by practicing in Norwich, UK while her wife completed a research fellowship. This allowed her to learn about cultural differences in practicing veterinary medicine as well as the differences in international veterinary regulations.
In her free time, she likes to spend time with her wife, 3 dogs and 2 cats. She enjoys gardening, building things, yoga, arts/crafts, playing instruments, going on adventures with her friends, and learning new hobbies.
